PORTLAND, Ore. --- The Portland Pilots men's and women's track and field teams concluded competition at the Lewis and Clark Spring Break Open with several first place finishes and new personal bests.
Junior Maya Murphy-Cook started off the Pilots with a first place finish in the high jump on Friday (1.58m), before redshirt sophomore Lacey Conner would open up the meet for Portland on Saturday, securing another first place spot in the women's 3000m steeplechase. Conner also record a new personal best of 10:48.87. Later in the day, jniors Maddy Lyons and Michal Jones then finished at the top of their respective events, with Lyons crossing the finish line in the 800m in 2:14.
