Pilots Claim Big-Time 3-2 Road Win over Host Oregon State

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Corvallis, Ore. --- The Portland Pilots concluded the first day at the Oregon State Tournament with an impressive, come-from-behind win over host Oregon State on Friday night at Gill Coliseum. The Pilots topped the Beavers 3-2 after trailing by two sets. Portland recovered from an earlier 3-1 loss to Seattle U to defeat their Pac-12 in-state rival.

During that opening match, Seattle (1-0) pulled away in the first set, leading 16-12. Portland then rallied late in the set with kills from Katie Sullivan, but Seattle held on to clinch the win 25-20.
