Pilots Begin a New Era with First Training of 2016

PORTLAND, Ore. --- The Portland Pilots men's soccer team officially opened the Nick Carlin-Voigt era with their first training sessions of the 2016 season on Wednesday. Carlin-Voigt is in his first year as head coach of the Pilots, after assuming the reigns in December.

The former UCLA assistant quickly assembled the No. 17 recruiting class in the nation as seven newcomers come to The Bluff this season. The Pilots feature a veteran squad in 2016, despite the sizeable class of newcomers, after graduating just one player last fall. 10 starters and 23 letterwinners return from last year's squad.
