PORTLAND, Ore. – In their first action of the 2022 season, the Portland Pilots defeated the Southern Oregon Raiders 3-1 at Merlo Field in an exhibition. Sebastian Nava, Jacob Babalai and Nick Fernandez were the goalscorers for Portland.
The Pilots will be back in action early next week, playing the Oregon State Beavers – last year's top overall seed in the NCAA Tournament – on Monday, Aug. 15 at Merlo Field. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m.
