EUGENE, Ore. – The Portland women's tennis team won its second match in as many days with a 4-2 victory over the Boise State Broncos Saturday afternoon at the Student Tennis Center. Portland defeated BYU on Friday at home and will continue its weekend with a match tomorrow at UC Irvine at 11 a.m.
The Pilots (3-5, 1-0 WCC) overcame lots of adversity on Saturday to pull out a gutty win. With three of the regulars in the singles lineup unavailable and after dropping the doubles point, Portland battled back to win the top four singles matches to secure the victory.
