PORTLAND, Ore -- The Pilot Mens' Cross Country and Track programs announce their 2023-24 rosters, including 12 newcomers, including three transfers and nine freshmen.
The transfer students joining the Pilots will include:
Thomas Chaston from Colorado State comes in with an impressive resume having competed at the NCAA West Regional Championships in the 3,000 meter steeplechase. His PR in the event sits at 8:47, which would place in the top-10 all-time at University of Portland. Along with this, Chaston placed 11th at the NCAA Mountain Region Cross Country Championships, earning all-regional honors.
Trey Gannon comes to the Bluff from University of Pittsburgh with personal bests of 3:49 in the 1,500 meter and 8:10 in the 3,000 meter events.
