BELLEVUE, Wash. --- In a game that was shortened to eight innings due to a time limit, the Portland Pilots and Seattle Redhawks tied 10-10 in a non-conference baseball contest played on Wednesday afternoon at Bannerwood Park. The game had a time limit due to a high school contest that was scheduled to follow the Pilots and Redhawks at the ballpark.
It was close for the first few winnings with the Pilots (6-22-1) nursing a slight lead before they broke it open with a six-run fifth inning. Both Mike Hicks and Dutton Elske had a two-run single during the frame, which ended with the Pilots leading 10-3.
