STOCKTON, Calif. – Senior Michail Pervolarakis pulled out his third consecutive three set victory on Saturday and has advanced to the quarterfinals of ITA Northwest Regionals for the second consecutive season. Pervolarakis defeated Timothy Sah of Stanford by a 6-2, 3-6, 7-5 and will now move on to face Cal's Jacob Brumm on Sunday at noon.
Pervolarakis is the tournament's No. 2 seed and ranked No. 95 nationally. Last year he reached the semifinals and is looking to duplicate that run this weekend.
