SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Portland sophomore Michail Pervolarakis earned All-West Coast Conference first team honors in singles and doubles, the league announced on Wednesday. Sophomore Mathieu Garcia and Pervolarakis were one of three All-WCC first team doubles tandems, while Mathieu Garcia and brother Pierre Garcia also garnered honorable mention status in singles.
Pervolarakis is the only underclassman on the six-player first team after posting a 13-5 dual singles record, including a 4-2 mark against league opposition at the No. 1 position. The Limassol, Cyprus native also went 2-0 against nationally ranked players this spring. He becomes the 10th player in Portland history to earn first team recognition.
