SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Portland junior Michail Pervolarakis earned his second consecutive West Coast Conference Singles Player of the Week award after he won both of his No. 1 singles matches in leading the Pilots to a pair of impressive home wins against BYU and No. 49 San Diego.
Pervolarakis defeated BYU senior Keaton Cullimore in straight sets in Friday's 4-2 team victory. He posted scores of 6-3 and 6-4 in the win. He then posted an impressive 6-3, 7-6 win over No. 70-ranked Filip Vittek of the Toreros on Saturday. It marked his first match this spring against a ranked opponent.
