Pervolarakis Earns No. 18 Singles Ranking, Highest in Pilot History

TEMPE, Ariz. – University of Portland men's tennis senior Michail Pervolarakis had a historic fall season and his quality results vaulted him up the Oracle/ITA Men's Tennis Singles Rankings, which were released on Wednesday. Pervolarakis jumped to No. 18 nationally, the highest ranking in Portland singles history.

Building off of a historic junior year in which he became Portland's first West Coast Conference Player of the Year, Pervolarakis was ranked No. 95 in the preseason rankings. He immediately proved himself by playing in all of the top fall tournaments, including winning two matches at the Oracle ITA Masters to open the season.
