INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- Laura Pellicoro has qualified for the NCAA Indoor Track Championships in the women's mile event for the second year in a row, announced by the NCAA Division I Men's and Women's Track and Field and Cross Country Committee on Tuesday.
Following an extremely successful season, highlighted by five school records, Pellicoro earned her bid to nationals after recording a new personal best mile of 4:32.91 at the Ken Shannon Last Chance meet hosted by University of Washington.
"Laura making the indoor nationals again is a huge accomplishment," said Coach Ian Solof. "This was the toughest year ever to qualify but she is such an amazing competitor.
