STOCKTON, Calif. --- The Pacific Tigers jumped out to an early lead before cruising to an 87-38 win over the Portland Pilots in a West Coast Conference women's basketball game played on Thursday night at the Alex G. Spanos Center. Freshman Darian Slaga had a nice night off the bench for the Pilots, finishing with a team-high 13 points.
Pacific (12-14, 5-10 WCC) surged ahead to begin the first quarter and claimed a 13-4 lead four minutes in. Portland (3-23, 1-13 WCC) did well to recover and pulled within four with a lay-up by Ashley Gray and a pair of free throws from Julie Spencer.
