Pacific Overcomes the Pilots in Three Sets

STOCKTON, Calif. --- The Portland Pilots faced West Coast Conference opponent Pacific, Saturday afternoon in the Alex G. Spanos Center. The Tigers overcame the Pilots with scores of 25-18, 25-20, and 25-17.

Pacific jumped out early in the first set to a 7-2 lead before sophomore Katie Barker, and junior Reghan Pukis registered kills to come within two of Tigers. Pacific continued to push forward with two more large runs to move into the high teens, ten ahead of Portland. Troutman then sparked a run with a kill, followed by a solo block from Morgan Robinson and a block with the assistance of Cali Thompson to hold the Tigers at 22.
