EUGENE, Ore. --- Redshirt freshman Riley Osen ran another exceptional race in the 3000m steeplechase on day one of the 2018 NCAA Track and Field Championships, posting a qualifying time to advance to the steeplechase finals on Friday. The Pilot recorded a new personal best of 8:43.22 to finish 11th overall and move onto the next round.
"Riley was amazing today! He has really stepped up every time he has needed to this year which is really impressive for a freshman, said head coach Rob Conner. "He ran smart and finished strong.
