Orndorf Makes History, First Pilot To Run A Sub-Four Mile

SEATTLE, Wash --- The Portland Pilots men's and women's track and field teams concluded the UW Indoor Preview on Saturday, with redshirt senior Logan Orndorf producing the most impressive performance of the day, becoming the first Pilot in UP history to run a sub-four minute mile. Orndorf surpasses Portland alum Ryan Poland (4:01.28) who last set the record for the indoor mile in 2014

Junior Emmanuel-Roudolff Levisse (4:05.69) and redshirt junior Caleb Webb (4:07.06) both also made their mark in the UP record books in the indoor mile moving up to seventh and 10th all-time.

On the women's side several Pilots ran in their first indoor events of their collegiate career wearing the Pilot jersey.
