PORTLAND, Ore. – The No. 8 Pepperdine Waves posted a 4-0 win over the Portland Pilots in a West Coast Conference women's tennis match on Saturday at the Louisiana Pacific Tennis Center. The Waves improve to 16-1 overall and 5-0 in league play, while the Pilots fall to 4-13 and 0-6 in conference.
Pepperdine features five nationally-ranked singles players and two doubles teams in this week's ITA rankings.
The Waves started strong in doubles as the No. 17-ranked duo of Luisa Stefani and Mayar Sherif Ahmed posted a 6-1 win at the No. 1 position against Anna Oberg and Jelena Lukic.
