SANTA CLARA, Calif. --- Portland freshmen Greg Tracey and Jake Arteaga both found the back of the net and senior goalkeeper Kienan Weekes provided four saves as the No. 7 Pilots shutout the Santa Clara Broncos 2-0 in a West Coast Conference men's soccer game played on Sunday night at Stevens Stadium. It's the fifth clean sheet this season for the Pilots, while Weekes collects his fourth solo shutout.
The Pilots (11-1-3, 3-1-1 WCC) dominated possession early, which led to a couple of quality opportunities. Alejandro Pereira hit one just wide in the second minute, and he sent a header towards the frame moments later that was outside of the left post.
