Sophomore Maddie Muhlheim scored 13 points, while senior Julie Spencer and junior Kate Andersen both collected 11 points.
The Pilots (10-13, 2-10 WCC) jumped out to an early lead as Muhlheim buried a three and Portland held the Zags to just two points during the opening four minutes of the first quarter.
