PORTLAND, Ore. – Portland Pilots Men's Soccer defender Nikos Clarke-Tosczak will participate in the 2025 MLS Showcase, marking the third straight year the Pilots have had players invited to the prestigious event. Clarke-Tosczak was invited along with Portland forward Joe Highfield, who has opted out due to injury.
The showcase is a closed-door event for college players to show their skills to over 100 Major League Soccer scouts, coaches and general managers ahead of the 2026 MLS SuperDraft. The showcase runs from Dec. 10-13 while the SuperDraft itself will take place on Thursday, Dec. 18.
The Pilots have had numerous players partake in the showcase under head coach Nick Carlin-Voigt, with Nick Fernandez – a second-round draft pick with the San Jose Earthquakes in last year's draft – most recently partaking.
