PORTLAND, Ore. – Nikolas Tvedt has signed a National Letter of Intent and will join the University of Portland men's tennis team as an incoming freshman in the fall of 2020, head coach Aaron Gross announced. Tvedt is a native of Norway that has spent the last four years studying at the ES International School and training at the Sanchez-Casal Tennis Academy in Naples, Florida.
"Nikolas has been training at a high-level academy in Florida and is poised to make a huge jump in his game," Gross said. "He is a big kid that is still young and has a lot of tools that can be big weapons at the college level.
