SALEM, Ore.---Senior sprinter Maya Murphy-Cook from the Pilots women's track and field team, and veteran Caleb Webb from the Pilots men's team both claimed Top-10 all-time finishes at the Willamette Dual Meet in Salem on Thursday night.
Murphy-Cook registered the individual win and a new personal best of 25.20 in the women's 200 meter dash, which ties the fourth-place program record in the event. Webb completed the men's 800 meter run in a time of 1:51.56 to collect the overall win in addition to recording the eighth-best time in school history.
Several Pilots from both squads were making their debut performances in new events on the day, including McKenna Smith in the women's 3000 meter run, who clocked in at 10:27.
