PORTLAND, Ore. --- Portland junior guard Maddie Muhlheim was named to the West Coast Conference Women's Basketball All-Academic Team, while junior post Lauren Walker earned honorable mention recognition. This is the second straight year to land on the all-academic team for Muhlheim, and it's the first honor for Walker.
Muhlheim boasts a 3.93 GPA and is majoring in accounting. A Portland native, Muhlheim is averaging 8.2 points per game, and she's coming off a 27-point performance during a win at LMU. She buried seven three-pointers against the Lions, and she currently ranks fourth all-time in Portland program history with 173 career three's.
