Muhlheim Catches Fire, Leads Pilots Past San Diego

PORTLAND, Ore. --- Portland's Maddie Muhlheim buried a program-record nine three-pointers and scored a career-best 27 points as the Pilots cruised past the San Diego Toreros 96-74 in a West Coast Conference women's basketball game played on Saturday afternoon at the Chiles Center. Eight of Muhlheim's three's came in the second half as she topped the previous UP record of seven, which was held by Jennifer Wassom (2005) and Holly Blades (2016).

After connecting on one three-pointer during the first half Muhlheim was unconscious in the third quarter, connecting on a trio of three's to help the Pilots build a 12-point lead.
