The Portland men's tennis team will head to Sacramento, Calif. this weekend for a pair of non-conference matches. The Pilots will take on Yale on Saturday at 11 a.m. and then play Sacramento State on Sunday at 1 p.m. Both matches will take place at the Sacramento State campus.
Portland enters the weekend having won four of five matches and with a 5-6 overall record. The Pilots have dealt with injuries to its most experienced players throughout the spring, often playing a sophomore and all freshmen throughout the doubles and singles lineups.
"I think our team is in a pretty good place in terms of preparation for the players that have been healthy," Portland head coach Aaron Gross said.
