The Portland men's tennis team cracked the top 75 in the final Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) rankings, released on Wednesday by the ITA and finish the season at No. 74. It is the second time the program has concluded the season with a national ranking, finishing No. 75 two years ago. Portland was ranked earlier this season and has earned in-season ITA rankings four of the last six seasons, and six of the last 12 years under head coach Aaron Gross.
"We had a great season and enjoyed every second of it," Gross said. "We have been kind of disappointed that we had not been in the rankings because we have four ranked wins and no unranked losses.
