PORTLAND, Ore. – The No. 72 Portland men's tennis team dispensed of Northern Colorado in a dominating 7-0 victory Sunday afternoon at the Louisiana-Pacific Tennis Center. The Pilots improve to 6-4 on the season, while the Bears fall to 2-7 overall.
The Pilots were coming off of a loss at BYU on Friday night and were well-prepared for the quick turnaround.
"I thought we had a good chance to be successful today, but was a little nervous about how we would respond from the travel and change of conditions," Portland head coach Aaron Gross said. "I feel like we have a very resilient group so I wasn't too concerned about how they would bounce back from Friday's loss.
