PORTLAND, Ore. – Portland men's basketball has added Timo George (Amsterdam, Netherlands/IMG Academy – Fla.) to the roster for the 2025-26 season, head coach Shantay Legans announced. George joins early signee Dante Censori-Hercules as the second incoming freshman for the Pilots.
George (6-8, 245) played prep basketball at the renowned IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla. and has represented the Netherlands in international competition.
George helped the Netherlands Under-20 National Team to a fourth-place finish at the 2024 FIBA EuroBasket where he averaged 12.3 points and 7.3 rebounds per game. He shot 62 percent from the field and made 2-of-4 three-point attempts throughout the competition.
