PORTLAND, Ore. -- The University of Portland men's basketball program announced the full non-conference schedule for the 2021-22 season on Thursday. The schedule features games against 14 opponents including the regular season opener at Arizona State, a road contest against Oregon and seven home games at the Chiles Center.
After their opening exhibition game against Lewis and Clark on Nov. 1 – a doubleheader with the women's team – the Pilots start their season with a trip to Tempe, Ariz. to take on the Pac-12 Arizona State Sun Devils on Nov. 9. Led by head coach Bobby Hurley, the Sun Devils have made the NCAA Tournament three times since 2014.
