FAIRVIEW, Ore. --- Portland's men's and women's cross country teams had multiple successes at the PSU Viking Rust Buster, including new personal bests from several runners on both squads. The Pilot's men's team also clenched the team title at the meet.
Redshirt-junior Reuben Kiprono led the way for the men, claiming first place over all in the men's 6K race with his time of 18:34.0. Cole Shugart followed close behind for fifth place and a PR of 18:56.7. Thomas Salas and Henry Hayes finished next in seventh and eighth place, running the course for new personal bests of 19:14.
