Lusby Named WCC Player of the Week after a Pair of Shutouts

SAN BRUNO, Calif. --- Portland sophomore goalkeeper Rachel Lusby is the West Coast Conference Women's Soccer Player of the Week after recording a pair of shutouts as the Pilots picked up two wins on the road. Lusby, in three starts and four overall appearances this season, has yet to allow a goal, maintaining a perfect 0.00 goals against average and an unblemished 1.000 save percentage.

Lusby opened last week with five saves during Portland's 1-0 win at Oregon, who entered the match ranked No. 16 in the RPI. Against the Ducks on Monday, she followed Portland's goal in the 61st minute with a pair of diving stops.
