Late Rally Sends the Huskies Past the Pilots in Seattle

SEATTLE, Wash. --- After Hunter Montgomery had given the Pilots the lead with a two-run homer in the top of the seventh inning, the Washington Huskies scored four in the bottom of the eighth to prevail 10-8 over Portland in a non-conference game played on Wednesday night at Husky Ballpark. Daniel Lopez also homered for the Pilots.

The Pilots (23-23) and Huskies (24-19) entered the top of the seventh inning tied 6-6. After Henry Cheney reached on an error, Montgomery stepped up to the plate and left the yard with his team-best ninth home run of the year.
