PORTLAND, Ore. --- Redshirt sophomore Lauren LaRocco has qualified to compete in the 5000m at the 2017 NCAA Indoor Championships in College Station, Texas. The Aggies will host the meet on March 10-11 at the Gilliam Indoor Stadium.
A three time All-American, LaRocco looks to earn her fourth All-American honors after having broken two school records in the 3000m already this season. Sitting at second all-time in the record books in the 5000m with a time of 15:54.26, which earned her NCAA championships qualifications at the Husky Classic earlier this season, LaRocco is just three seconds shy of surpassing previous All-American Tansey Lystad, who currently holds the program record.
