BLOOMINGTON, Ind. --- Woody Kincaid started off the 2015 track & field season for the Portland Pilots with a win in the 5,000 meter race at the Hoosier Open on Friday night. The senior finished the race in a time of 13:44.34 at the Gladstein Fieldhouse on the Indiana University campus.
The sixteen man race featured competitors from across the nation. Kincaid finished just ahead of Northern Arizona's Futsum Zienasellassie who completed the distance in 13:44.89. Fellow Pilot Reid Buchanan was the third runner across the line with a time of 13:49.
