PORTLAND, Ore. – Portland Pilots Women's Basketball has added Jerod Gibson to the staff as an assistant coach for the 2023-24 season, head coach Michael Meek announced on Friday.
"We are very excited to have Coach Gibson join our staff at the University of Portland," Portland head coach Michael Meek said. "He brings a plethora of experience, positive energy and is a relentless worker. Jerod has proven he can develop his players, but more importantly he puts at the forefront cultivating a great team environment and culture, something we value highly here on The Bluff."
Gibson joins the Pilots after serving for the last five seasons as the head women's basketball coach of the Linn-Benton Community College Roadrunners in Albany, Ore.
