Hummel Homers Twice, but Big First Inning Leads Ducks to Victory

Box Score 1 EUGENE, Ore. --- Portland junior Cooper Hummel entered the program record books with a pair of home runs, but the Oregon Ducks scored eight runs in the first inning before claiming a 15-4 win over the Pilots in a non-conference baseball game played on Tuesday night at PK Park. The game followed the conclusion of a previously suspended game, which was also won by the Ducks 6-1.

Kevin Farley recorded an RBI single in addition to Hummel's homers, but it wasn't enough as the Ducks (26-22) jumped out to an early lead with that eight-run first inning.
