PORTLAND, Ore. --- Senior outfielder Cody Hawken is the Rawlings West Coast Conference Player of the week after batting .417 during Portland's series at San Diego. This is the first league weekly honor for Hawken this season.
In Saturday's series finale, Hawken hit a grand slam, and he added a pair of doubles to finish 3-for-5 with seven RBI's, which is tied for the third most RBI's in a game by a Pilot in program history. He finished the weekend with a team-best eight RBI's overall, he scored two runs, and he was flawless in the field recording 10 putouts.
