SAN MATEO, Calif. -- The West Coast Conference announced this morning that Portland Pilots junior outside hitter Jayde Harris was named the WCC's Women's Offensive Volleyball Player of the Week following her performance in the Pilots' match against Gonzaga. This is Harris's second WCC Offensive Player of the Week honors of the season.
Harris was excellent in leading the team in total attacks and kills. She recorded 25 kills in the match, recording both a season-high and career-high. Additionally, Harris recorded a .352 attack percentage heavily contributing to the Pilots' 3-1 victory over the Zags. Their victory over the Zags gave the Pilots their second conference win of the season.
