GREENSBORO, N.C. – Portland Pilots pitcher Brett Gillis continued to rack up the accolades, making the ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division I All-American Second Team. It's the second All-American team that Gillis has been named to this year, making the Collegiate Baseball News All-American Second Team earlier this month.
Gillis qualified for the All-American team after being named to the ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division All-Region West First Team earlier this week. All first team All-Region honorees were eligible to make an All-American squad. He was the first Pilot All-Region honoree along with Peter Allegro since 1992.
