PORTLAND, Ore. --- Junior Jasmine Garibay sent the Pilots over Loyola Marymount 1-0 with a goal in the 57th minute as Portland blanked the Lions in a West Coast Conference women's soccer played on a wet Friday night at Merlo Field. It's the second goal and second game-winner for Garibay this fall.
Her goal was on a well-hit, low-driven shot from inside the 18-yard box early in the second half.
Junior Kimberly Hazlett attacked down the right sideline to take on two LMU (3-11-4, 1-4-1 WCC) defenders and sent in a cross towards fellow junior Rachel Khaw.
