PORTLAND, Ore. --- Portland freshman forward Alex Fowler is the West Coast Conference Player of the Week for the third time this season after averaging a double-double during road wins at Pepperdine and Loyola Marymount. The Pilots have claimed a league-high five player of the week awards this season as point guard Haylee Andrews has also nabbed the weekly honor twice.
Fowler averaged 19.0 points and 12.0 rebounds as the Pilots won both games on their final road trip of the regular season. Fowler scored 11 points and corralled seven boards during Thursday's key 64-62 win at Pepperdine.
