SAN MATEO, Calif. – Portland Pilots forward Alex Fowler has been named the WCC Player of the Week for the first time this year. She is the first Pilot to earn the honor this season.
Fowler earned the honor after averaging 22 points, six rebounds and 5.5 assists over Portland's two wins this weekend. Fowler became one of just 19 players in NCAA Division I to put up multiple games with at least 20 points, five rebounds and five assists. She also became the third Pilot in Portland's Division I history to eclipse 1,800 points scored over the weekend.
