Fowler Breaks Program Scoring Record in 58-39 win Over Lions

PORTLAND, Ore. -- Alex Fowler became the Portland Pilots' all-time leading scorer at the NCAA Division I level in their 58-39 win over the LMU Lions.

The Pilots (16-6, 10-1) had two players score in double figures, led by Emme Shearer, who put together a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Fowler tacked on 10 points, four assists, four steals and two blocks and Maisie Burnham added eight points and nine rebounds.

Portland's defense held Loyola Marymount to only 7.1% shooting from beyond the arc and 23.7%from the field. That's the lowest field-goal percentage that the Pilots have held an opponent to this season.
