DEXTER LAKE, Ore. --- One of Portland's two JV fours took the gold and the Pilots captured four medals total at the 2016 Covered Bridge Regatta, which took place on Saturday at Dexter Lake. Portland raced six boats total on a busy day just outside of Eugene.
During the morning races, Portland's second four 'A' crew won their heat and qualified for the Grand Final with a time of 8:19.6. Portland's second four 'B' boat also qualified for the Grand Final, but it was the 'A' boat who finished on top of the field in the afternoon.
Portland's novice four claimed a bronze medal with a time of 9:26.
