SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Portland Pilots Baseball had five players make the 2025 WCC All-Academic Team on Monday, with Carter Gaston, Tyler Howard, Henry Muench, Jonas Salk and Zach Toglia all making the squad. The Pilots also had five players earn honorable mention: Brady Bean, Curtis Hebert, Riley McCarthy, Ryan Rembisz and Spencer Scott.
Portland's five players on the team are the most for any WCC team since 2014. The Pilots put five on the team for the first time since 2013, tying a program record for WCC All-Academic First Team selections.
Gaston makes the team for the second year in a row.
