SEATTLE, Wash. --- The Portland Pilots men's and women's track & field teams opened up the MPSF Championships on Friday afternoon at the Dempsy Indoor on the University of Washington campus. Anna Farello was the top Pilot finisher on the night with a second place finish in the 5,000m.
It took Farello just 16:34.55 to complete the 5,000m race, a time that sits at second all-time in program history. Her performance also gained an important eight points for the Pilots at the meet.
"Anna ran the race of her life and truly impressed me," said women's head coach Ian Solof.
