EUGENE, Ore. --- Senior Alyssa Edenstrom tallied the game-winner and the Portland backline and goalkeeper Rachel Lusby were clinical as the Pilots shutout the Oregon Ducks 1-0 in a non-conference women's soccer game played on Monday night at Pape Field. The goal is Edenstrom's first of the year, and the center back records her second career game-winner.

And it came after Portland (5-2-2) freshman Lucy Davidson and Kimberly Hazlett earned the Pilots a free kick on the right wing in the 65th minute. Allison Wetherington then sent a perfect ball into the area, and the 6-foot Edenstrom did the rest, elevating and finishing with a header, which would prove to be the only goal of the night.
