PORTLAND, Ore. – San Francisco capitalized on five Portland errors to pull out a 6-4 win on Saturday in the second game of a West Coast Conference baseball series at Joe Etzel Field. The Dons, also 6-4 winners on Friday night, improve to 14-8 overall and 5-0 in league play with the win. Portland drops to 8-14 overall and 2-3 in league action.
San Francisco scored four runs in the top of the first inning to grab the early lead. Back-to-back doubles from Jonathan Allen and Riley Helland started the onslaught. Portland committed a pair of errors in the frame to extend the inning as two of the runs were unearned.
