EUGENE, Ore. --- The Portland Pilots beach volleyball team capped their regular season with a rematch against the University of Oregon on Saturday, falling 1-4 to the Ducks at Amazon Park.
Junior Katie Barker and Sophomore Carey Williams won their fourth duel of the season, holding off a UO comeback to win in three sets. Two pairs of Pilots had sets go past the 21-point threshold, but both were unable to complete the comeback.
The Pilots will take next weekend off, and return to action at the WCC Championships in Santa Monica, Calif. on April 20th.
