PORTLAND, Ore. --- Portland junior center back Olivia Dendinger was named to the 2019 CoSIDA Academic All-District® Eight Women's Soccer Second Team, it was announced on Thursday. This is the first regional all-academic honor for Dendinger, who earned all-league academic accolades last year.
From Hillsboro, Ore., Dendinger has anchored Portland's backline, helping the Pilots record four shutouts this fall. The Pilots have also allowed just 20 goals this season, which is the second fewest in the WCC. In 2018, Dendinger was voted to the All-WCC Second Team, and she earned WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention. Dendinger majoring in computer science, and she has a cumulative GPA of 3.
